Composer/Arranger/Conductor

I guest conduct orchestras, bands, choruses, and chamber ensembles at all levels including military groups. Orchestras have included the Carson City Symphony (NV), the Wellsville (NY) Performing Arts Orchestra, and the Sussex County Youth Orchestra (NJ). Bands include The U.S. Naval Academy Band, the U.S. Naval Forces Europe Band, and the U.S. Navy Band Northeast.

I am a former conductor of the United Choral Society (2002-2003) and the Community Singers of Queens (1995-1997). I have much experience conducting new music for chamber groups, orchestra, and concert band. Additional experience in musical theater.

Co-author with Allen Cohen of "Writing Musical Theater" (Palgrave Macmillan, 2006) and forthcoming "The Concertgoer's Guide to the Symphony Orchestra" (E.F. Kalmus). Adjunct Assistant Professor of Composition at New York University.
